We had a holiday get together with. Party of 13. Lauren, their event coordinator, did a very thorough and thoughtful job of having us plan the menu. Our service was polite and we were never feeling rushed which was good because we had a lot to talk about! The food was excellent whether it was the salad, the steak, salmon, pork chops, etc. everyone raved about the food as well as the overall experience. We will be back!

New Year’s Eve Price Fixed Menu had really good options to choose from. We started with eggplant and spinach croquettes and shrimp cocktail followed by pear salads. Delicious! The pear salad was my favorite. We tried the Lobster Fettuccine and Roasted Peking Duck Breast entrees. The Peking Duck was delicious medium- well done and the risotto was over salted but the lobster fettuccine was just right. For dessert we polished off crème brûlée and flourless chocolate torte with coffee. The service and hostess were great, really nice, clean line decor in an intimate setting, lots of parking in the back, not overcrowded, just the perfect atmosphere for a New Year’s Eve dinner for two. Will be visiting again to try more from their seasonal menu.

I had my engagement dinner here! It was absolutely wonderful! Lauren was so organized and helpful with all the decisions we had to make. The food was delicious - everyone raves about the grilled swordfish, steak and how tender the chicken entree was! Service was also on top of it! Overall wonderful experience!

I hadn't been to Acacia in more than a decade. I recall a vibrant, classy atmosphere offering a high-end culinary experience. My return last night was a disappointing. Acacia is a ghost of its former self. Ghost describes it well, because it is all white, as if someone started to provide interior design and gave up. It needs some color, some life! The food was unremarkable. Sad, because Acacia and Fedora's (next door) were once the two absolute go-to dining experiences on Main St, in the Village. And Maidenhead Bagels was THE best bagel purveyor, but they're long gone. Fedora's is close to death ( miss Nicole and her mom!) and it seems Acacia is not far behind. Extremely doubtful that I will ever return to either location. C'mon Lawrenceville, you can do better!

Excellent dining, attentive server, and excellent service and food in the middle of a packed night. Despite a full house with multiple large Christmas parties they made us feel as if we were the main table in the house, service outstanding pear salad, calamari, shrimp and scallops or lentils what's an excellent coconut curry and some decent duck. One of our colleagues had aposta slash risotto dish made up as a vegetarian option and absolutely loved it. not quite sure how they did it and made it seem so effortless but we really appreciated the food and the service. The restaurant itself is like one large room with many tables perhaps seeming a little tight tonight just given the crowd but once you get past the initial impression I'll be a very nicely decorated, we really sagat ourselves as we got lost in the wonderful meal.

We have been going to Acacia for many years, and it is always the same friendly and warm service, interesting food, seasonally changing menu and budget-friendly prices. The most recent 2019 summer menu includes (but not limited to) such great dishes as refreshing White Gazpacho, delicious Littleneck Clams cooked in Thai coconut curry, Fried Green Tomato, and terrific Local Yellowfin Tuna served with vermicelli noodles and shiitake mushroom. Our dessert choice was equally excellent, very light Lemon Chiffon Cake, served with white chocolate, raspberry Chantilly, and French macaron. The ambiance is calm and relaxing, and the BYOB makes it all more desirable. If you live in the greater Princeton area a visit to Acacia is a must.
